Basement ICF Walls

And the house begins to take on more shape. door ways and windows cut outs are in place. Bracing is put in place, and in most places it's glued to the concrete floors. The glue leaves no stain on the floor. This is important for two reasons. One because of the radiant heat, nothing can be nailed to the floor. Also the owner is having acid stained floors, and can't have stains from the glue. Once the Speedfloor has been poured, the below grade foam will be treated with a water proofing product, then back filled. A load of sand will be brought in to back fill around the below grade end of the house. The above grade or exposed ICF will be finished with a stamp concrete finish.
